Study overseas
The University of Melbourne encourages high achieving students to undertake study overseas as part of their degree through the Global Mobility programs for student exchange and Study Abroad.
Students intending to study overseas as part of their degree need to have their proposed course of study approved before going.
In addition, students occasionally find that after arriving at their overseas destination, the subjects they have approval for are not available.
In all cases, students are required to seek approval from the relevant (undergraduate, honours or postgraduate) coordinator in that area of study for subjects to be credited to their Melbourne degree, including any alterations in their study plans.
