Community Access Program
The community access program allows people who are not enrolled in a degree program at the University of Melbourne to enrol in subjects in the normal undergraduate program. Fees are payable for these enrolments, with fees varying according to whether students enrol for assessment, with or without a bursary, or as non-assessed students. Details of the fee structure are obtained from the Faculty of Arts Single Subject Study (Community Access Program) webpage.
Students should note that there is no guarantee of selection into Arts or a Combined Arts course via Community Access Program, but it is possible to use Community Access Program subject results to support an application for entry.
Community Access Program students must satisfy any subject prerequisites. Though few first year Arts subjects have prerequisites, most later year subjects require first year subjects to be completed before entry.
