History and Philosophy of Science Courses
History and Philosophy of Science offers students the opportunity to think about science within a broad intellectual and social context. In History and Philosophy of Science we study the historical development of the sciences, the aims and methods of science, as well as the relation of science to social context. In addressing these issues, we draw on a variety of historical, philosophical and sociological perspectives and approaches.
